Product Description

IEC 60529 IPX3/IPX4 oscillating tube with rotation table, control system and water tank  Specification:

Clause
1.1 Main control unit
1.1.1 One (1) unit of main control unit shall be provided.
1.1.2 The equipment shall be made using waterproof material.
1.1.3 The equipment shall compose;
1.1.3.1 Start and stop buttons.
1.1.3.2 Timer for test duration. Time: 1 – 60 minutes.
1.1.3.3 Knob for oscillation speed.
1.1.3.4 Switch for turning water on/off.
1.1.3.5 Supply voltage: three phase 220VAC 50Hz 2KW,customizable
1.1.3.6 Current operated earth leakage circuit breaker of sensitivity 30 mA for protection from
electrical hazard.
1.1.3.7 After the operating time, that had been set on the timer, runs out the tube returns to vertical
position, apparatus is switched off, and the water is shut off.
1.1.3.8 Start and stop buttons for turntable.
1.2 Water supply unit
1.2.1 One (1) unit of water supply system unit shall be provided.
1.2.2 Water flow meter. Mean flow rate per hole: 0.07 L/Min.
1.2.2.1 Flow rate of R200: 0.56 L/Min for IPX3 and 0.84 L/Min for IPX4
1.2.2.2 Flow rate of R400: 1.1 L/Min for IPX3 and 1.8 L/Min for IPX4
1.2.2.3 Flow rate of R600: 1.8 L/Min for IPX3 and 2.6 L/Min for IPX4

1.3 Angle control unit
1.3.1 One (1) unit of angle control unit shall be provided.
1.3.2 The equipment is designed that it is possible to conduct symmetric and asymmetric oscillations
with steplessly adjustable both end positions and stop position.
1.3.3 Equipped with scale (± 0 ~ 180 deg) with three limit sensors and pointer. Interval of 10 degree
per scale.
1.4 Oscillating tube
1.4.1 The equipment shall be made using stainless steel material. Grade 304.
1.4.2 Four (4) unit of oscillating tube shall be provided as follows;
1.4.2.1 One (1) oscillating tube with radius of R200 mm.
1.4.2.2 One (1) oscillating tube with radius of R400 mm.
1.4.2.3 One (1) oscillating tube with radius of R600 mm.
1.4.2.4 One (1) oscillating tube with radius of R1000 mm.
1.4.3 All oscillating tube pipes shall have minimum internal diameter of 15 mm.
1.4.4 All oscillating tube holes shall have internal diameter of 0.4 mm and each hole shall have
distance of 50 mm. No of oscillating tube holes shall be accordance to Table 9 of standard IEC 60529
1.4.5 The oscillating tube for IPX3 shall meet the following;
1.4.5.1 Oscillate through an angle of 120°, 60° on either side of the vertical.
1.4.5.2 The time for one complete oscillation (2 × 120°) being about 4 s.
1.4.6 The oscillation tube for IPX4 shall meet the following;
1.4.6.1 Oscillate through an angle of almost 360°, 180° on either side of the vertical,
1.4.6.2 The time for one complete oscillation (2 × 360°) being about 12 s.
1.5 Turn table with grid shaped for specimen support
1.5.1 The turntable shall meet the following;
1.5.1.1 The turntable support has diameter of 500 mm.
1.5.1.2 The turntable height can be adjusted to meet the suitable distance between test specimen
and oscillating tube that have variable size.
1.5.1.3 The turntable support is grid shaped perforated.
15.1.4 The turntable support can be turned / rotate about its vertical axis during the test at a rate of 1
r/min.
1.5.1.5 The turntable support can carry weight of minimum 50 kg.
1.5.1.6 The turntable shall be made using stainless steel material.
